Today it is Children In Need Day so we have brought in a donation so we could dress in our pyjamas for the day. We were also allowed to bring in our teddies and later we are going to draw them. The school coucil collected the money from all the classes and there was LOTS of money in the bucket! Early next week they are going to count it all up to see how much our school has raised. Happy Children in Need Day to everyone!

Class One Blog
Welcome to Class One's online blog.
Hello from Class One
In science we have been learning all about our senses. We tested our sense of smell using ‘Smelly Pots’. Mrs Fenton put different foods in pots and covered them so we couldn’t see inside. We had to smell the pots and see if we could guess what was in them! We were very good at guessing!
We are busy getting ready for our harvest festival. We are going to sing two songs, one called ‘Big Red Combine Harvester’ and another called ‘Thank You Lord’. Our favourite is ‘Big Red Combine Harvester’!
Four children have celebrated their birthdays! Jessica, Grace, Ethan and Tilly are now 6!! Happy Birthday to them all!!
We are now looking forward to our half-term holiday and Halloween!
Hello from Class One
We are back from our summer holiday and we have enjoyed our first week at school.
During the holiday Faye, Millie-Rose, Viv and Alex celebrated their birthdays. They all had a wonderful time and we all wish them a very happy birthday!
Tom Joules entered a colouring competition and he WON! For his prize he got a set of books and he won books for his new class! Well done Tom and a BIG thank you from your class mates!
Mrs Fenton and Mrs Thompson are very pleased with all of the children in the New Class One. They have all worked very hard this week. Please keep up the good work children!
