Below is our Chair of Governors letter to parents informing them of our Ofsted inspection outcome.
6th July 2011.
Dear Parents,
On behalf of the Governors, I am writing to inform all parents of the outcome regarding our recent OFSTED inspection caried out on the 20th-21st June 2011.
The inspectors judged the school to be very good with many outstanding features. This is a continued improvement from the last OFSTED inspection, which was also good, carried out in 2008. The benchmark for reaching good has now been raised considerably and the school has not only achieved this grade but now has many more outstanding features. The inspector said Woodseaves School was ‘Fingertips away from being judged an oustanding school’.
The Governors would like to express their thanks to Mr Whitehall and all the staff whose hard work and dedication has again been rewarded with this excellent inspection report. A special thank you to the parents and careers of the children, whose continued support of the school is highly valued and appreciated by all. Mr Whitehall has thanked the children themselves who are a credit to the school.
