Through History pupils develop a sense of chronology and an appreciation of how the past has shaped and influenced our lives today. We give the pupils where possible the opportunity to learn through visits, visitors to school or handling artefacts, to make their learning experience as practical as possible.


Through Geography lessons pupils investigate a variety of people, places and environments in the UK and abroad. They are taught to question the way that people can influence their environment and also how the environment can affect the way people live their lives.
