Learning
The school implements the National Curriculum.
For each subject and for each Key Stage, programmes of study set out what pupils should be taught and attainment targets set out the expected standard of pupil’s performance.
It is organised in Key Stages and in our school this is:
Key Stage 1, ages 5 - 7 years.
Key Stage 2, ages 7 to 11 years.
There is detailed planning in place so that each child is able to progress through and be monitored as he/she follows the curriculum.
The curriculum is delivered in a variety of ways. It may be whole class lessons, group work or individual help but the work is structured to meet the child's individual needs.
