Pupils use colour ,form, texture and pattern and different materials to communicate what they see, feel and think. They explore the work of different artists, craftspeople and designers. They are encouraged to develop their enjoyment and understanding of the visual arts.

Design and Technology
This is taught through units of work which develop skills in designing, making and improving products. Practical and problem solving skills are developed and pupils are encouraged to be innovative.
