Music enables pupils to develop their ability to listen to and appreciate music, and also to acquire the skills, knowledge and understanding to make some of their own.

There are opportunities for pupils to take instrumental tuition in addition to this. There is a charge for this. All year 6 pupils learn to play the recorder at no cost to the parent.

At the end of the school year Key Stage 2 pupils perform an end of year play and all pupils take an active part in the production.
